Meet the Principal
Kei ngā tī, kei ngā tā, tēnā koutou
I am Urutakai Cooper, Principal of Te Kura o Hato Petera Kaniera | St Peter Chanel School, Ōtaki.
Bilingualism (Reo Maori & English) is woven within the learning framework of our kura to allow equal access and opportunity for our children to be enriched by the
official languages of our country.
We offer a family-orientated school environment that has children integrated across highly active, sustainable and well-supported classrooms. Our curriculum programme is diverse and fun to allow our children the opportunity to shine in all areas of learning.
Acknowledging our special character and the ’voices’ of our community. We cherish the relationship between our children, their family, our Pukekaraka community and the wider community.
