He uri nō Raukawa Te Au ki te Tonga, Te Atiawa, Ngāti Toa Rangatira, Te Arawa me Ngāti Maniapoto.

Uruorangi McNaught is an ex-pupil of our Kura, as are many of her family.

Uruorangi returned to her kura in 2018 to become our Takiwatanga/Autism Teacher Aide. Since then she has developed a passion and strong knowledge base working with our tamariki with super powers (takiwatanga and Kanorau-ā-roro) and is now a very important and valuable member of our team. Because of her passion and knowledge, Uruorangi helps our tamariki shine and excel in their interests, and they achieve some great life and learning outcomes. Uruorangi is also a speaker of both Reo Māori and English.

Uruorangi's interests include Kapa Haka, Animals, Te Taiao and caring for infants.
